Biography:
Alan Chen received a Masters Degree in materials science and engineering from Tsing-Hua University and later an EMBA from Chiao-Tung University. Alan began his professional career at HMC (Hualon Microelectronics Corp.) where he worked as a process engineer. He later joined Lam Research where he worked for over 15 years in a number of roles including Process Engineering and Marketing Management. Alan now works for Edwards Taiwan Ltd. as Regional Applications Director with responsibility for regional product and application projects, including vacuum pumps applications, point-of-use abatement systems and integrated vacuum and abatement systems.
