A New Paradigm of Raw Material Management in Advanced Technology Nodes
Challenges of raw materials quality management along the development trend of advanced technologies will be reviewed. In order to minimize the risk of material related excursions with limited resources and short development cycles, a paradigm comprises of a group of ideas and models is proposed to improve the effectiveness of material management. Key opportunities include metrology roadmap alignment, more transparency in the material manufacturing process flow and sub-supplier quality management, and closed loop feedback system between raw material suppliers and chipmakers.
