In our research labs, over 2,200 brilliant employees, including 700 industrial residents and guest researchers, collaborate with experts from our partners – top companies, research institutes and universities in nanoelectronics, healthcare, energy, sensor systems and wireless communication for the Internet of Things. Together with its partners, imec has enabled the semiconductor roadmap for more than 30 years. Next to that, for developing the new applications of the internet of things, internet of energy and internet of health, imec is a catalyst, a place where new solutions are bred and developed.
