Transformation to Sustainable Manufacturing Company – Implementation Guideline
The future of our planet and the future of our manufacturing industry depend on our ability to thrive in systems, to co-create in collaboration and to achieve levels of synergy that transform our manufacturing impacts. Yet, a critical gap remains between rising performance goals and the organizational capability to consistently achieve them. Many companies have a green product or green product line but that is not enough. We need to undergo a paradigm shift in our company culture, relationships, systems and processes at an organizational level. We must move beyond “random acts of sustainability” to holistic, comprehensive initiatives that transform our internal daily operations, project delivery and external collaborations. We need to become a global community of sustainability practitioners that apply these principles all the time and just not on-demand. This presentation provides the participants with a new structure and approach and an actionable roadmap that they can execute immediately, as well as a set of metrics that they can track to pursue continuous improvement.
