Topic:
Security for Connected Cars

Abstract:
As the connected car market continues to evolve, applications from ADAS to dashboards to infotainment and beyond need ever more complex computing solutions based on video, vision, GPU, CPU, wireless connectivity and cloud services. This increasing complexity, along with more connections, software and systems, all increase the attack surface area in the car. While there are many components that contribute to the security of these systems, the main SoC has a central control and management function, and must ensure that connected devices can connect to only where they are allowed to connect. This presentation will discuss a multi-domain separation-based SoC security architecture that can provide members of the automotive value chain with the foundation to build and deliver leading edge, secure, and safe solutions.
