J Watson Research center and 6 years in AT&T Bell Labs • 1994 - 2003: 9 years Fab eng and management with Macronix -- Fab Operation Associate VP for 3 Fabs (6”& 8”) • 2003 - 2011: 8.5 years Sr. Director of TSMC for 6 assignments: (1)Supply Chain platform development, (2)capacity and cost planning, (3)procurement, (4)customer service, (5)oversea JV (SSMC) operation VP, and (6)18” wafer development program director. • 2011 - 2013: 2.5 years Sr. Vice President (& country GM) of Qualcomm for Mirasol process development (yield 5%->85%) and manufacturing. Built a G4.5 MEMS display Fab on Mirasol technology. • Aug. 2014 - now: Vice President, CTO, APAC, Lam Research • Served 7 years as chairmen of MSE dept Alumni Assoc. (1994-2001) • Serve 3 years as director of board for Tsing Hua Univ.
