Steve Blaine is an instrumentation and controls specialist with CH2M. He has more than 30 years of experience designing control systems for advanced technology manufacturing industries including semiconductor, solar, and flat panel, as well as high-density data centers. He has designed controls for machines, facilities and innovative energy optimization systems using PLCs, PCs, operator interfaces, and SCADA systems.
He holds an M.S. in Engineering Management and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering. He is a registered professional engineer in the U.S. states of Oregon, New Mexico, Arizona, Florida, Texas and Utah, and is a certified Manufacturing Plant Electrician in Oregon.
Mr. Blaine has published articles and made presentations at technical conferences about innovative HVAD, FMS and controls strategies for next-generation manufacturing facilities in a variety of advanced technology markets.
He is a Senior Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE) and a member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE).
