Rwei-Ming Chen is the Vice President of Advantest Taiwan Inc., responsible for SoC sales, services and support business in local & regional market.

Mr. Chen joined Hewlett-Packard Taiwan as application engineer back to 1985, in charge of the DC parametric testing (WAT) project, which turned out to gain 99.9% market share, a very decisive success for HP then. Starting 1991, Rwei-Ming was promoted to be manager of the solution service department of Test and Measurement Organization and further promoted to be country manager of Service and Support Organization, TMO Taiwan. When Agilent spun off from HP and IPO in 1999, Mr. Chen was assigned to be Asia Services and Support GM, Semiconductor Test Solutions.  He changed to be the Country General Manager led Agilent Semiconductor Test Business since November, 2004.
 
Rwei-Ming Chen continued his role as Taiwan General Manager when Verigy became independent on June 1st, 2006 to carry on the business generation and customer services in Taiwan. The industry cycle in semiconductor has been shorter. Since the second half of year 2005, business has been burgeoned in Asia market. Under the management of Mr. Chen, Verigy Taiwan has been playing an important role in gaining market share, and contributing to Verigy business growth.
 
Since from Apr 1st 2012, Verigy is merged into Advantest, so Rwei-Ming Chen is assigned to lead SoC Business Unit in Advantest Taiwan Inc. as Vice president, responsible for sales, services & support.
 

Rwei-Ming Chen holds a BS in Engineering Science and MS in Electrical Engineering from National Cheng Kung University.  And he finished the e-Commerce and network knowledge management course of EMBA program from National Taiwan University 2002.
