Dr. CT Liu is currently VP and General Director of the Electronics and Optoelectronics Research Laboratories at the Industrial Technology Research Institute. Prior to his current position, CT was the senior vice president at AUO where he had several responsibilities: head of the AUO Technology Center, General Manager of AUO’s Consumer Product Business Group with an annual revenue of US$ 1.5B, and Chairman of SiPix. After he left AUO and before joined ITRI, he has also served as the chief operation officer of World Vision Taiwan, a non-profit charity organization, for one and half years. Before joining AUO in 2002, CT had worked at the central research of AT&T Bell Labs, where he has received the President Gold Award. He was with Bell Labs for 12 years, after receiving his Ph.D. from Princeton University in 1990.
