Mike Liang joined Amkor in Feb. 2012 as the President of Amkor Technology Taiwan. He has been working in the semiconductor industry for 31 years since 1981 in the arena of IC Assembly, Wafer Fabrication, IC Design and Wafer-Material Manufacturing. Mike served Ti-Acer Inc. as the Vice President of Wafer Fab Operations. During his tenure from 1990 to 1998, his strong leadership saw the successful growth of their DRAM business, thus Ti-Acer Inc. became a leading supplier in Taiwan. During 1998 to 2002, he served Mosel Vitelic as the Vice President of Wafer Fab Operations, he led the DRAM manufacturing line successfully and converted it to become a wafer foundry manufacturer. Prior to joining Amkor Technology, Mike served King Yuan Electronics Corp. (KYEC) as the President and CEO from 2005 to 2011 and grew KYEC to become the benchmark of IC testing industry with its home grown testers as well as flexible business model with customers and ATE partners.

Mike earned Bachelor of Science & Physics degrees from National Cheng Kung University and the EMBA, International Business Management from National Taiwan University.
